Hello! On Friday night I went to my friend, Anna's, sleepover birthday party. It was really fun! We played lots of games including (I don't know the exact names, but these names that I make up sort of describe them.) Ha*, Fishing**, Robber Candy Game***, and Fashion Design Game****.
*Rules: Everyone gets in a big circle. One person starts, saying a funny word, and everyone has to go around the circle without smiling or laughing. If they smile or laugh, they're out. Then, when that circle's finished, you start by saying a different funny word. You keep playing until only one person's left.
**Rules: There are teams of two. It doesn't matter how many teams there are, but the more, the more fun it is. One of the team members is called the fish, and the other the fisherman. The fish line up in a row across from the fishermen. They're facing each other, but the fish is blindfolded. (They're sitting down.) The fisherman is holding a donut tied with string (hanging down) from a stick. When someone who's not playing says "Go!", the fishermen start calling "Here, fishy, fishy! Here fishy, fishy!", and the fish have to find their fishermen. If they find someone else's fisherman, they're out. When they find their fisherman, they have to eat the donut. Whoever finishes their donut first, wins! That game's fun, but messy.
***Rules: All people get in a big circle. There are a few buckets (depending on how many people are there, but what we did was have about four people per bucket), each having a few dice (two to four dice per bucket). The object is to get doubles. There is a big pile of candy in the middle. When you get doubles, you get to pick a candy from the middle, and the people watching have to remember what you and other people got. When the candy runs out, you can pick somebody else's candy. But here's the trick; you have to remember exactly what they got. For example, if the candy's out, and Anna thought she remembered that I got a Reeses, she could, when she got doubles, say, "Carrie, give me your Reeses.". If I had the Reeses, I had to give it to her, but if she got it wrong, and I didn't have a Reeses, then I could pick one of her candies, even if I didn't remember what she got. She had to let me choose. That game was really fun, too.
****Rules: There are at least two teams. Each team has one model, and the other people are fashion designers. Each team has two roles of toilet paper and one role of crate paper. They have five minutes to design, make, and put their outfit on the model. Then everyone votes for who has the most creative, and the best all-around design.
We had pizza for dinner, and yogurt with granola and fruit on it for breakfast. Also, for dinner dessert, we had dot icecream. It was so good! She liked her presents, so it went well. Well, I better go. Carrie
P.S. Today we're going to see Prince Caspian!!!
